BLACK HISTORY PARADE & EXPO
FEBRUARY 8, 2020
February is a month-long celebration where we reflect on significant contributions made by great African-American leaders of the past. The Riverside Black History Parade, Expo and Car Show has been a popular annual tradition for 41 years. This cultural event, held annually on the 2nd Saturday of February, will take place Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 at 10 a.m. in downtown Riverside.

CONFERENCE

The 18th Annual Empowering Young Women Conference, a collaborative effort of the Adrian Dell and Carmen Roberts Foundation, Riverside Community College District, the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa, Riverside Police Foundation, Blumenthal Law Offices, and Dr. Kathy Wright. The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the Landis Auditorium located on the Riverside City College campus at 4800 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA.
BACKPACK GIVE AWAY

Each year, families line up to receive a free backpack. The Adrian Dell and Carmen Roberts Foundation will once again be distributing backpacks at it's 18th Annual Free Backpack Giveaway event on Saturday, Aug. 1st from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Castle Park in Riverside.
Dell Roberts, Riverside Unified School Distirict Dean of Discipline, Community leader and advocate will be featured in the upcoming episode of Riverside TV's "A Good Life" documentary series.
